About AGElink

Advancing Geriatrics Education through Community Linkages, or AGElink, is a continuing education program for rehabilitation sciences professionals to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes about geriatrics and the normal aging process. It is provided, in part, through an allied health project grant funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (1D37-HP-00782)* and is co-sponsored by the South Carolina Lowcountry Area Health Education Center.

The AGElink courses are geared toward practitioners in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology who are interested in learning more about gerontology and geriatrics. There is no cost for registering and accessing the courses, but a fee is charged for obtaining CE credit after course completion. Follow the links below to learn more or register:

2.7 contact hours or .27 CEUs, $55 (for credit, all units must be completed)
Unit 1:  Falls and the Elderly
Unit 2: 
Postural Control in Aging Adults

2.0 contact hours or .20 CEUs, $45 (for credit, all units must be completed)
